Introduction

These Terms govern your use of BudgetSpider, a service operated by Bridgemark (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bridgemark Innovations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BudgetSpider, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and comply with applicable laws when using the platform.

3. User Accounts

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

4. Account Security

You must keep your sign-in credentials confidential and notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Free Trial

BudgetSpider offers a 5-day free trial for eligible users. Trial access is intended for evaluating platform features and may be limited or adjusted to protect service integrity.

At trial expiry, Premium features require an active paid subscription. If no paid subscription is active, access continues only to features available on your current non-premium plan.

6. Premium Subscription

Premium is offered as a recurring subscription. Unless cancelled before the next billing date, the subscription renews automatically for the next billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically reverse charges already processed.

7. Payments

Payments for BudgetSpider subscriptions are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. By purchasing Premium, you authorize recurring charges in line with your selected subscription plan and Paddle's checkout terms.

8. Refund Policy

Refund requests and eligibility are handled in line with Paddle's applicable refund policy and applicable consumer protection law. See our Refund Policy: https://budgetspider.com/refund-policy.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the platform to:

• Abuse, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Upload or transmit malicious code.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Scrape or extract protected data without permission.
• Exploit billing or subscription workflows in bad faith.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of the budgeting data and content you submit. We process your data only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service in line with our policies and applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

BudgetSpider, its software, design, branding, and logos are intellectual property of Bridgemark (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bridgemark Innovations and are protected by applicable law.

12. Availability

We use reasonable efforts to keep the service available and reliable, but uninterrupted, error-free, or always-on access cannot be guaranteed.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bridgemark (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bridgemark Innovations will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bridgemark (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bridgemark Innovations from claims or losses arising from your unlawful use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where there is fraud, abuse, security risk, or breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions are posted on this page with a revised last updated date.

18. Governing Law
